The Fabric
An unlikely pairing.
Two fibres doing two jobs. Ultrafine merino at 18.5 micron handles the temperature and the freshness. Tencel Lyocell makes it softer than merino manages on its own.
- 70% Merino wool
- 30% Tencel Lyocell
- Warm when it is cold, cool when it is not. Wool regulates rather than insulates.
- Wear it again before washing. Wool holds odour inside the fibre and releases it in the wash.
- Not the wool you remember. At 18.5 micron it does not prickle, and the Tencel softens it further.
Wool is a natural, renewable and biodegradable fibre. Tencel™ Lyocell is made from eucalyptus wood and is certified by TÜV Austria as biodegradable in soil, freshwater and marine environments.
